Method for displaying flight plan of aircraft on display device screen of flight management system, involves calculating aircraft position and main values of aircraft parameters at moment corresponding to present or future time of aircraft
The method involves calculating position of an aircraft (A) and main values of parameters of the aircraft at a preset moment, where the moment corresponds to a present time or future time of the aircraft. A spatial representation in top view of a geographic area being flown over by the aircraft is displayed. A representation of a flight plan (FP) or a part of flight plan positioned on the spatial representation is displayed. A symbol representing the aircraft positioned on the flight plan at a location corresponding to an immediate preset flight is displayed.
