Sound generating system for use in e.g. electric vehicle, has sound processing unit generating signal according to control law and sound sample, and sound restitution unit generating warning sound according to generated signal
The system (1) has a reading unit (7) to read data from a multiplexed network (2) e.g. controller area network, and a memory (6) to store a sound sample. A control unit (9) receives, in input, the data from the network and generates, in output, a control law for a sound processing unit (13) using the data. The sound processing unit is connected to the memory and the control unit, and generates a signal according to the control law and the sound sample. A sound restitution unit (3) e.g. loudspeaker, generates a warning sound according to the signal generated by the processing unit.
