The method involves determining an initial position of a vehicle (3) in a plan (7) of a parking zone (2). A target area (1) of the parking zone to be reached is allocated with the vehicle. Coordinates of the target area are determined. The plan is loaded in a memory of the vehicle in the parking zone. A position of the vehicle is calculated in the plan based on the initial position of the vehicle, measured number of revolutions of wheels and a measured angle of a steering wheel of the vehicle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions to execute a method for guidance of a vehicle to a target area in a parking zone (2) a vehicle.
