Device for sending emotional information of communication participant of audio or video telephony application, has recording interface to derive emotional information from image of communication participant recorded by imaging system
The device has a generating unit for production of a data field (102), and a transmission interface for sending the data field, where the data field comprises emotional information of a communication participant. The emotional information comprises an emotional state of the participant. A recording interface receives the emotional information, and comprises an imaging system to record an image or a partial image of the participant, where the recording interface derives the emotional information from the image. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for receiving emotional information of a communication participant (2) a method for receiving emotional information of a communication participant (3) a method for sending emotional information of a communication participant (4) a session initiation protocol (5) a computer program with program codes for performing methods for sending and receiving emotional information of a communication participant.
