The vehicle has steps (12a, 13a) introduced into a basic structure (10a) i.e. basic frame, to rise a back (14a) of a cab (11a). The steps are covered by coverings (15a, 16a) in an operating mode of the vehicle. The coverings comprise an actuator unit, which holds the coverings in a covering position during the operating mode. The actuator unit is designed as an uncontrolled spring unit or a controlled spring unit. The cab is firmly connected with longitudinal beams of the basic structure. The steps are formed by a metal sheet bending part.
