Method for assisting driver of vehicle in route planning and route guidance in traffic route network, involves determining degree of fatigue of driver, where date, time and intermediate target of trip are determined based on fatigue degree
The method involves determining (101) a degree of fatigue of a driver, where the date, the time duration and the intermediate target for the interruption of a trip are determined (102) based on the degree of fatigue. The prescribed statutory provisions are considered on timetables during determination of the date and the time duration. The determination of the intermediate target information on the traffic situation is considered in a transport network. The intermediate target information is determined such that the stopover traffic delays are avoided. The route guidance is provided for the selected intermediate target. An independent claim is included for a driver assistance system for assisting a driver of a vehicle for route planning and guidance in a transport network.
