The present application relates to a computer implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for determining a echoes time response of a fault tolerance mechanism. In one embodiment, the process comprises the steps of:Determining the transit times of one or more components of a system with error tolerance mechanism in at least one passage through the system;Determining at least one error mode for at least one of the components of the system;Generating at least one measuring point for the passage through a combination of the transit times of the components with the at least one error mode.
