The anti-lock braking system (ABS)-control method involves calculatingly determining a front wheel locking tendency value or a rear wheel locking tendency value during braking process based on a measured front wheel parameter and a measured rear wheel parameter. An ABS-control intervention is carried out when the front wheel locking tendency threshold at a front wheel is exceeded or a rear wheel locking tendency threshold at the rear wheel is exceeded. The ABS-intervention causes a declination of the locking tendency at the front wheel or at the rear wheel.
