Device for monitoring efficacy of electromagnetic radiation guard structure of e.g. personnel computer, determines radiation guard structure to be effective, when radiation guard test signal strength is below preset value
The monitoring device has a radiation guard receiver (5) for receiving radiation guard test signal from a radiation guard transmitter (3). The transmitter and receiver are arranged within or outside a radiation-protected apparatus (1). A radiation guard structure (2) of the radiation-protected apparatus is determined to be effective, when radiation guard test signal strength is below a preset value. The radiation guard structure of the apparatus is determined to be ineffective, when the radiation guard test signal strength is above the preset value. An independent claim is included for a method for monitoring efficacy of electromagnetic radiation guard structure of radiation-protected apparatus.
