The method involves removing the liquefied natural gas of a reservoir and converting into gaseous state under the supply of heat. The heat is derived from a process, particularly cold extraction process. The cooling energy is intermediately stored in a cold storage (17) of the system. The cooling energy stored in a cooling medium is transported in a line system (19) to refrigeration consumer (18). Brine, thermal oil or water is used as cooling medium. An independent claim is included for a regasification system with a cold storage having a material, particularly graphite, metal or ceramic for heat conduction.
