The antibacterial coat (1) has an antibacterial material that is selected from nylon or polyester. The antibacterial material has strands of silver, silver alloy or zinc oxide. The antibacterial material is fixed to the handlebar using a Velcro(RTM: hook and loop fastener) fastener (2). The Velcro fastener is provided with a Velcro strips (20,21) that are extended to opposed sides of the material in longitudinal direction (L).
