Modular engine for hybrid-electric vehicles, has four engine module units and is driven and powered by pipeline with drive energy from driver energy container, where modular engine is guided to current generators with help of drive device
The modular engine has four engine module units and is driven and powered by a pipeline (2) with the drive energy from a driver energy container. The modular engine is guided to the current generators with help of a drive device consisting of shafts, toothed belt transmission, electric-couplings and bearings (4.1,4.2). The mechanical work generated from the modular-engine is converted into the electric energy and through the current lines (6.1,6.2) is transferred to a current-accumulator in controlled manner from an electronic control. The electric energy is again converted into the mechanical work to guide to the drive wheels (14) of the hybrid car.
