PURPOSE: A system and a method of controlling an educational science kit device are provided to improve the utilization of a smart phone application by controlling configuration elements of the educational science kit device using the algorithm of the smart phone application. CONSTITUTION: A power control module (14a) sets power transmission for an LED module (16a), a multi-LED module (16b), a buzzer-output module (16c), a DC motor module (16d), and a servo motor module (16e) according to wake-up. A communication control module (14b) determines whether an application stored in a memory (17) is the lasted version or not according to the wake-up of the power control module. The communication control module receives an updated application from a smart phone and a wired terminal by controlling a communication unit (13) when the application is not updated. A main control module (14d) controls a module by receiving sensing data from sensors comprising a sensor unit according to the algorithm of the updated application.
