PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing gallium oxide nanowire and a gallium oxide nanowire manufactured by the same are provided to intensify violet radiation by enhancing luminous effect of the nanowire through a thermal process and growing the nanowire which contains precious metals by using gallium oxide.;CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing gallium oxide nanowires comprises the following steps: coating a substrate with precious metals; heating the substrate in which the precious metal is coated under inert atmosphere; supplying inert gas and gallium nitride powder under oxygen condition to the heated substrate in order to form a nanowire; and cooling the nanowire and heat treating the cooled nanowire. The nanowire in the third step comprises precious metal core and gallium oxide shell. The heating of the second step is performed at 800-1200°C.
