PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a three-dimensional function key and a three-dimensional function key display conversion method of the mobile terminal are provided to clearly recognize contents inputted by a GUI button using the three-dimensional function key, and to perform a mode change through a motion. CONSTITUTION: A motion detector(101) detects a movement of a user. A display unit(102) displays a three-dimensional function key with at least two surfaces. A control unit(103) controls the change of the display on one surface of the three-dimensional function key with the other surface by the detected movement of the user. A storage unit(104) stores information to be displayed on each surface of the three-dimensional function key, and identification information for each surface of the three-dimensional function key for displaying each information.
