PURPOSE: An eradication system for a pirate ship having a pirate ship setting function and an eradication method thereof are provided to alarm the appearance of a pirate ship by comparing the information on the surrounding ships with various judgment factors of the pirate ship. CONSTITUTION: An eradication system (10) for a pirate ship having a pirate ship setting function comprises a monitoring unit (100), an integrated management unit (200), and a handling unit (300). The monitoring unit measures the positions and movement information of the surrounding ships. The integrated management unit generates multiple pirate ship judgment factors based on the measured positions and movement information of the surrounding ships, and the pirate ship judgment factors are matched with the degree of risk to calculate the final degree of risk. The integrated management unit compares the final degree of risk with a reference value. If the final degree of risk is more than the reference value, the integrated management unit alarms the appearance of a pirate ship. The handling unit handles the access of the pirate ship.
