摘要

PURPOSE: A magnesium alloy manufacturing device and a method thereof are provided to refine a magnesium alloy microstructure without changing the corrosion characteristic of molten magnesium and a mechanical property.;CONSTITUTION: A magnesium alloy manufacturing device (10) comprises a crucible (100), an electric furnace (300), a mixed gas supplying unit (200), and a current pulse supply unit (400). The current pulse supply unit applies a pulse wave current to molten magnesium or to the crucible. The crucible is composed of a steel material. The current pulse supply applies the pulse wave current by using a first electrode (410) which is dipped into the molten magnesium (20) and a second electrode (420) which is connected to the crucible.
