PURPOSE: A multi-layer graphene mixture for adsorbing organic materials and a packed oil absorber are provided to show a high adsorption capacity to the organic materials, and to show an oil adsorption capacity more than twice, compared to graphene manufactured with expanded graphite or carbon nanotubes, or other method.;CONSTITUTION: A multi-layer graphene mixture for adsorbing organic materials is obtained by thermal shock by passing oxidized graphite with a carbon/oxygen ratio of 1-50/1 through a fluidized bed furnace maintained at 300-1200deg.C. The oxidized graphite has a carbon/oxygen ratio of 1-50/1 by an elemental analyzer. In X-ray diffraction, the maximum peak is shown around 2&thgr;=10 degrees. The average surface area of the graphene mixture is 200-2600m^2/g. The organic material is crude oil.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
