BUMPER ASSEMBLY OF A MOBILE ROBOT, CAPABLE OF SENSING A COLLIDED STATE OF AN OBSTACLE THROUGHOUT A WHOLE COLLISION POSSIBLE REGION IN A COLLISION OF THE MOBILE ROBOT AND THE OBSTACLE
PURPOSE: A bumper assembly of a mobile robot is provided to sense a collision even though an obstacle collides to any portion of a periphery of a front plate, thereby removing a shadow section and enlarging a collision sensing range.;CONSTITUTION: A bumper assembly(100) of a mobile robot comprises a sliding member(110), a first elastic member(141), a first sensor(131), a second sensor, and a front plate(120). The sliding member moves backward and forward with respect to the robot body. The first elastic member presses the sliding member toward the front side. The first sensor senses that the sliding member moves rearward over the predetermined length. The front plate is joined to the sliding member rotatably. The front plate and the sliding member are integrally moved when the sliding member moves backward and forward.
