The present invention relates to a method and a system for providing a message board. The method enables each posting to be displayed in separate speech balloon-shaped areas having a first direction and/or a second direction which oppose each other, and the method comprises the steps of: (A) displaying and providing text which is inputted in a separate speech balloon-shaped area having the first direction if the text is inputted by a first user; and (B) displaying comments in chronological order when the comments are inputted by a second user on the lower part of a posting to which the inputted comments are attached, if the comments are inputted by the second user, wherein the inputted comments are displayed and provided in a separate area having a direction which opposes the direction of the separate area in which the posting to which the inputted comments are attached is displayed. Thus, according to the present invention, a user can intuitively recognize the connection between postings.
