摘要

Invention herewith described refers to the recovery of basic and precious metals from liquid crystal displays (lcd screens) and plant for recovery thereof. When the liquid crystal display (LCD) is concerned, the main process of indium extraction is the sulphuric acid leaching. Before this process, the grinding and sieving processes will be performed to increase the concentration of indium in the solid bits processed by leaching. Moreover, these processes will allow the separation of plastic and glass that can also be recovered and used. This pre-treatment allows the increase in the concentration of the leaching solution and thus enables easier recovery of indium zinc cementation.Oxidizing agent during leaching is necessary to reduce the formation of foam due to the liquid crystals (organic compounds). The recovery of indium can be done by the movable plant:- 1 reactor, in which the main process (leaching or cementation) is executed;- 1 plate and frames with filters for separation of solid components from liquid;- 1 reactor that receives filtrate operating as the reservoir of the apparatus for artificial respiration (so-called artificial lung).
