PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal attribute estimation system capable of increasing the estimation accuracy without depending on environment-dependent attributes.;SOLUTION: An age/sex estimation system 10 as the personal attribute estimation system includes: a monitoring camera 11 that takes a person as an attribute estimation object to generate an image; an age/sex estimation section 122 that estimates personal attributes reflected on the image generated by the monitoring camera 11 using estimation parameters; and an environment-dependent attribute identifying section 124 that identifies environment-dependent attributes depending on the installation environment of the monitoring camera 11. The age/sex estimation section 122 uses parameters, which are generated based on a piece of learning data including environment-dependent attributes within a predetermined distance from the environment-dependent attributes obtained by the environment-dependent attribute identifying section 124 in an environment-dependent attribute space, as the estimation parameters.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
