Variable frequency band-pass filter, has coupled conducting lines connected to terminal of variable capacitance element and resistor, respectively, where lines are provided on surface of insulator or sandwiched in layer of insulator
The filter (1) has two coupled conducting lines (LM1, LM2) i.e. micro strips, connected to a terminal of variable capacitance element (CV) i.e. Schottky diode, and a resistor (R), respectively. One of the lines is provided between the other line and a third conducting line, where the conducting lines have same width. The coupled lines are provided on a surface of an insulator or sandwiched in a layer of the insulator, where the filter allows passing only a frequency band that is selected in a range of 30 megahertz and 2 Giga hertz based on a value of the variable capacitance element.
