Method for deghosting marine seismic data related to subsurface of body of slanted streamer, involves generating final image of subsurface in processor based on deghosted reflectivity of joint deconvoluting images
The method involves inputting data recorded by detectors towed by a vessel (84), where the data is associated with waves (80, 82) e.g. reflected waves, travelling from the subsurface to the detectors. Migration procedure is applied to the data to determine an image of the subsurface. The migration procedure is applied to the data to determine another image of the subsurface. The images are joint deconvoluted for deghosting reflectivity of the subsurface. A final image of the subsurface is generated in a processor based on the deghosted reflectivity of the joint deconvolution images. An independent claim is also included for a processing device for deghosting seismic data related to a subsurface of a body of water, comprising an interface.
