Blasting device i.e. pressure or suction system, for blasting workpiece, has storage container, where blasting material containing water vapor is stored in container and emerged from jet nozzle, and vapor includes certain temperature
The device i.e. pressure or suction system (1), has a generation device i.e. steam generator (8), generating gaseous driving medium i.e. water vapor. A particulate blasting material (3) is stored in a storage container (2). The medium includes overpressure in comparison to ambient atmosphere. The material is brought together with the medium in a mixing device i.e. jet nozzle (7). The material containing the medium is emerged from the jet nozzle. Temperature of the water vapor is more than 100 degree Celsius. The jet nozzle is attached to the storage container via a delivery line (6). An independent claim is also included for a method for blasting a workpiece.
