Modular battery unit i.e. powerful modular battery unit, for use in automotive technology for operating electric or hybrid vehicles, has cooling bodies that are in fluid connection with each other by connection piece
The unit has two battery modules (10) provided with cooling bodies (20) on an outer side, where the cooling bodies cool the cooling unit and are partially and/or fully covered. The cooling bodies are in fluid connection with each other by a rigidly formed, separate connection piece (22) i.e. plastic injection molded part, and arranged in a plane and at a base of the battery modules with respect to an installation position of the battery unit. The connection piece is detachably connected with the cooling bodies by a plug connection part.
