The device (10) has a bone plate (12) provided with a threaded bore (16). A bone screw (14) is provided with a screw head (22) and a conical external thread (20). The threaded bore is formed with a multi-start internal thread (18), and the bone screw is formed with a single-start external thread. Pitch of the external thread of the bone screw is equal to or greater than pitch of the internal thread of the threaded bore. Depth of an incision is less than that of a base of the external thread. The external thread of the bone screw is provided at the screw head.
