The screw (2) has a screw body (3) comprising an external thread (4) extending on a total external surface of the body. A distal end (6) of the body is introduced in a bone, and includes identical teeth (11) for performing drilling in the bone during the screwing of the screw in the bone. The screw body has grooves at a distal end (6), where the grooves extend on the external surface and form a knife-edged ridge (13) with a filet of the thread for performing tapping in the bone during the screwing of screw. An independent claim is also included for an assembly for positioning an osteosynthesis screw, comprising a guiding pin.
