Illumination device for illuminating roads, has electrical interface designed as electrical configuration interface such that electrical operational parameters are adjusted at inactivity state of device
The device has a bulb housing (1) including light sources (2) and an electronic driver (4) i.e. electronic ballast, provided with a plug-in electrical interface. A plug-in device (5) comprises a plug-in connection (6) firmly connected with the housing. The electrical interface is designed as an electrical configuration interface (10), such that electrical operational parameters are adjusted at inactivity state of the device, and functional inspection of the device is feasible. The light sources are designed as LED luminous elements.
