Flight altitude determination unit for helicopter, from height above ground level, has flight altitude measurement unit provided opposite to plane for measuring native altitude and established as function of flight data
The unit has a flight altitude measurement unit provided opposite to a reference plane for measuring a native flight altitude. A receipt of the native flight altitude is established for measuring out aircraft subsystems, so that determinable current flight data of an aircraft is formed, where the unit recognizes an incorrect native flight altitude. The flight altitude measurement unit is established as a function of current flight data of the aircraft subsystems. An independent claim is also included for a flight altitude determination system for determining a flight altitude of an aircraft from height above ground level (HAGL).
