Star screen for use in screen star, has resilient fingers and scraper attached to one of fingers, where length of scraper corresponds to half of length or shorter to length of respective finger
The screen (10) has resilient fingers (12, 13) and a scraper (14) attached to one of the fingers, where length of the scraper corresponds to half of length or shorter to length of the respective finger. The scraper comprises a recess that is filled with a material same as that of the finger, where the scraper is made of ceramic or hard metal such as spring steel. The scraper is arranged relative to the fingers and bent in radial alignment when the finger is arranged to be inclined to the radial direction.
