PURPOSE: A ridge side ditch and a construction method using the same are provided to reinforce the existing ridge side ditch without a reconstruction and prevent a loss of the ridge side ditch newly constructed. CONSTITUTION: A ridge side ditch(100) comprises a perforated pipe(200a), a sealing member(300), an earth anchor(400), and a vegetation mat(500). The perforated pipe is formed to a longitudinal direction of a drainage way formed in a ridge of a cutting area. The perforated pipe comprises a plurality of through holes in a whole outer circumference with a predetermined distance. The sealing member is attached to cover the lower surface of the perforated pipe. The earth anchor is respectively extended to a perpendicular direction of both sides of the perforated pipe by being closely adhered to the upper surface of the perforated pipe and installed at an equal distance on the upper surface of the perforated pipe to be fixed to the ground. The vegetation mat is composed of a fixing plate(410) and a binding wire(420).
