PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing solid-fermented probiotics for livestock using suljigemi and a probiotic composition are provided to improve livestock productivity and to suppress pathogenic bacteria.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing solid-fermented probiotics for livesotck using suljigemi comprises: a step of storing suljigemi in a refrigerator at 0-10 Deg. C. to use yeast and Bacillus subtilis of suljigemi as a spawn; a step of inoculating a solid medium with the suljigemi and fermenting at 25-35 Deg. C. and 30-50% of moisture content for 2-4 days. The method also comprises a step of mixing and inoculating lactic acid bacteria with the suljigemi on the solid medium. The lactic acid bacteria are Lactobacillus plantarum, Enterococcus faecium, or Pediococcus pentosaceus. The solid medium is a basic solid medium containing rice bran and wheat bran. The solid medium further contains 0.2-5 wt% of molasse or glucose.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
