PURPOSE: System and method of controlling the cutting speed of a gundrill are provided to prevent damage to a gundrill by decreasing the cutting speed of the gundrilll.;CONSTITUTION: A system of controlling the cutting speed of a gundrill comprises a information extracting unit(10), database(20), and an NC(Numerical Control) code generating unit(30). The information extracting unit extracts hole processing information from three-dimensional CAD(Computer Aided Design) data. The hole processing information comprises the position, diameter, depth, processing direction of each hole. Processing directions for a plurality of holes are set. If there is an existing hole, the information extracting unit extracts a shift point to reduce the cutting speed of the gundrill with reference to the processing direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
