A wastewater fermentation heat electricity generation method that uses fermentation heat generated when sewage water is treated at a sewage treatment facility. Wastewater (36) flowing in a sewage treatment vat (30) due to gravity undergoes aerobic fermentation, thus generating fermentation heat. An ammonia liquid (20a) flowing through a absorption heat exchange unit (11) provided in the sewage treatment vat (30) is vaporized by the fermentation heat, producing an ammonia gas (20b). The atmospheric pressure in the absorption heat exchange unit (11) is increased, and an electricity-generating means (12) connected to the absorption heat exchange unit (11) is driven by the atmospheric pressure of the ammonia gas (20b).
