PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave altitude and velocity measuring device and an altitude and velocity measuring technique using radio wave, which have high measurement precision for altitude and velocity and are adaptable for spacecrafts for the moon and planets missions of severe weight resources.;SOLUTION: I signals and Q signals extracted from the I/F signals are digitized. The processing is carried out for each pulse received at the period T. Data of range bin of n points is stored in a memory section 24 for each pulse. When a required number of pulses are received, A Doppler frequency is estimated for each range bin of the n points of each pulse in a Doppler frequency estimation processing section 26. The Doppler frequency of n points takes different values depending on range bin due to difference along the visual axis angle.
