PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion sheet having an accurate BS pattern according to the design, to provide a manufacturing method of the light diffusion sheet, and to provide a transmission type screen comprising the light diffusion sheet. PSOLUTION: The light diffusion sheet comprises: a light diffusion sheet body 12 where a large number of condenser lenses (convex cylindrical lenses 13A) are disposed on one side surface S1 in the thickness direction; a contact angle changing layer 14 which is formed on the other side surface S2 in the thickness direction of the light diffusion sheet body 12 and changes a contact angle with a liquid by photoirradiation; light transmission parts 15 formed on the contact angle changing layer 14; and light absorption parts 16 formed between the light transmission parts 15, wherein a light diffusing agent is incorporated into the light transmission parts 15 and thereby the problem is solved.
