PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a localized plasmon resonance sensor allowing detection of high sensitivity, by enhancing an SN ratio of the localized plasmon resonance sensor.;SOLUTION: This localized plasmon resonance sensor for detecting a change in an optical constant, using a structure having metal, is constituted to include at least two resonance peaks in a response spectrum with respect to an incident light into the structure, to shift at least one of the resonance peaks to a longer wavelength side, by the change in the optical constant, and to shift at least another one of the resonance peaks to a shorter wavelength side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
