PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a core-shell type spherical silica-based mesoporous body having mesopores modified with different organic functional groups in a hierarchical state.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the silica-based mesoporous body includes: a first process for depositing core particles, in each of which a surfactant of an alkyl ammonium halide expressed by general formula (1) is introduced in a first silica, by mixing the surfactant and a first silica raw material in a basic solvent; a second process for obtaining porous precursor particles by stacking a shell layer, in which the surfactant is introduced in a second silica, on the outer side of each core particle by adding a second silica raw material into the solvent and mixing them; and a third process for obtaining the core-shell type spherical silica-based mesoporous body by removing the surfactant contained in the porous precursor particles.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
