PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a core-shell type spherical silica-based mesoporous body having mesopores modified with an organic group different in a hierarchical state and exhibiting different properties depending on pore sites in the same particle.;SOLUTION: The core-shell type spherical silica-based mesoporous body comprises a core particle composed of a first silica into which a first organic group having at least one kind of a function group selected from the group consisting of a sulfonic acid group, a carboxylic acid group and an amino group is introduced and a shell layer which is composed of a second silica into which at least one kind of a second organic group selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic compound-based organic group and a cyclic compound-based organic group is introduced and is laminated to the outsides of the core particle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
