PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuated virus of a TSWV (tomato spotted wilt virus) characterized by hardly observing or not observing viral symptoms of a plant at all without being propagated with a mediating insect thrips and facilitating culture tending of a plant of the family Compositae even when inoculated into the plant of the family Compositae. PSOLUTION: This RNA comprises a base sequence described in sequence number 1 for obtaining a TSWV-resistant plant. The attenuated virus of the TSWV uses the RNA. A TSWV-resistant plant is obtained by previously inoculating the attenuated virus of the TSWV containing the RNA into a seedling of the plant.
