PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire correlation data between the observing time of merchandise and the number of sales of merchandise and the array position of the merchandise.;SOLUTION: A observation decision part 22 of a merchandise selling device 1 decides merchandise observed by a customer based on a video acquired from a camera 11, and stores the observing time at that time and a region ID for identifying the array position of the merchandise, in an observation history data storage part 32 while they are associated with each other, and a customer purchase data acquisition part 24 stores the merchandise ID of the merchandise purchased by the customer and the region ID of the region in which the merchandise is arranged, in a customer purchase data storage part 33 while they are associated with each other. Also, an observation/sales data totaling part 62 of a data analyzing server device 5 tabulates the total observing time and the number of sales for each region ID based on the observation history data and customer purchase data acquired from the merchandise sales device 1, and stores the tabulated total observing time and the number of sales and the region ID, in the gaze/sales tabulation data storage part 76 while they are associated with each other, and a correlation analyzing part 63 analyzes the stored observation/sales tabulation data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
