PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily performable sash remodeling method and the like with ensured watertightness.;SOLUTION: In a sash remodeling method, a remodeling sash is installed to an opening communicating with interior/exterior, where an existing sash has been installed. The sash remodeling method comprises: an existing frame cutting-off step for exposing a building frame by cutting off a region, which is not covered with an exterior wall material, of the existing frame possessed by the existing sash and partially covered with the exterior wall material; a remodeling frame fixing step of fixing the remodeling frame of the remodeling sash to the exposed building frame on the indoor side with respect to an exterior wall surface by means of a fixture passing through the remodeling frame; and a water sealing step of providing a water sealing member between the exterior wall material and the remodeling frame fixed to the building frame.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
