PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file history information recording program etc., that takes over history information of an original file to history information of a new file and has efficiency and safety when the new file is created using the existent file.SOLUTION: When the file which is newly created by editing the existent file is saved, the history information associated with the original file up to the creation of the new file is taken over and recorded as history information of operation on the newly created file, so that the history information of the original file before the new file is saved can be efficiently acquired together. The history information may be taken over by setting a link to the history information of the original file or by copying the history information of the original file, and in the latter manner, even loss of the history information of the original file can be coped with to obtain a configuration which is superior in terms of safety.
