PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corruption preventing composition for fig which exerts a corruption preventing effect on fig after harvesting and is highly safe.;SOLUTION: The corruption preventing composition exerts an excellent corruption preventing effect on fig, and is highly safe. A treatment such as dipping or spray is preformed on the fig after harvesting by use of the corruption preventing composition, whereby corruption by fungi during storage and transportation can be significantly reduced. Further, the corruption can be reduced in a market, during display in a shop, and even after purchased by consumers.
