The process of controlling a cluster in outlet of a mold, comprises measuring a mass of injected material in the mold, determining the mass material present in the cluster at outer side of the mold, and comparing the masses for detecting an eventual variation between the detected values. A disparity of the material is indicated between the injection step and a step of demolding the cluster. The mass measurement is carried out by weighing the whole cluster just after its ejection from the mold during its capture by a robot gripper. The process of controlling a cluster in outlet of a mold, comprises measuring a mass of injected material in the mold, determining the mass material present in the cluster at outer side of the mold, and comparing the masses for detecting an eventual variation between the detected values. A disparity of the material is indicated between the injection step and a step of demolding the cluster. The mass measurement is carried out by weighing the whole cluster just after its ejection from the mold during its capture by a robot gripper. When the piece includes inserts, the whole cluster is weighed and the mass of the material present in the cluster is determined depending on the mass of the inserts. An independent claim is included for a device for controlling a cluster in outlet of a mold.
