The method for recovery and splitting of ammonia from media, which are loaded with ammonia, with an ammonia splitting device (2), a cleaning filter (3, 3') and a gas separation device (4), comprises flowing the media through a filtering device, and supplying the media to the ammonia splitting device and then supplying to the gas separation device after splitting the ammonia, where the individual gas types are separately and subsequently fed to the suitable storage media (7, 8, 9, 10, 11). The splitted gas mixture is separated into its main components of nitrogen and hydrogen. The method for recovery and splitting of ammonia from media, which are loaded with ammonia, with an ammonia splitting device (2), a cleaning filter (3, 3') and a gas separation device (4), comprises flowing the media through a filtering device, and supplying the media to the ammonia splitting device and then supplying to the gas separation device after splitting the ammonia, where the individual gas types are separately and subsequently fed to the suitable storage media (7, 8, 9, 10, 11). The splitted gas mixture is separated into its main components of nitrogen and hydrogen in the gas separation device and is fed and stored to the respective containers provided for it. The splitting device is operated at a temperature of 950-1000[deg] C. The collected and prepared gas is fed to a split tube, whose materials are heat- and acid-resistant. The ammonia-containing mixing gas in the split tube is fed to a nickel-containing catalyst at a process temperature of 950-1000[deg] C. The liquid ammonia is fed to an evaporator, which transfers the liquid ammonia into gaseous state. A filter system is arranged upstream and downstream to the splitting device and cleans the gas mixture from identified and loaded impurities. A dew-point sensor and an oxygen sensor are arranged and switched between the splitting device and the filter. The splitted gases (nitrogen/hydrogen) is cooled and then cleaned after the splitting process. The quality of the gases is monitored using the dew-point sensor and an oxygen measuring probe. The gas separation device is arranged and switched behind the particle filtering device. An independent claim is included for a system for recovery and splitting of ammonia from media.
