Method for measuring weight of container, has measuring shearing force that momentarily acts based on displacement of load during operating procedure in carrier, and arithmetically determining weight of load from measurement
The method involves measuring shearing force that momentarily acts based on displacement of a load (3) during an operating procedure in a carrier (5) i.e. square tube, of a load lifting device. Weight of the load is arithmetically determined from the measurement, and the shearing force in a carrier section (15) is determined, where the carrier section carries a unit i.e. hook (6), for engaging the load. A weighing window is limited at a side by torque, and degree of vibration is determined from a rapidly changing shearing force portion. An independent claim is also included for a load measuring device comprising a carrier.
