The present invention provides a control method for an unmanned transport vehicle for port logistics automation using an unmanned transport vehicle that is operated unattended by the operation controller is wirelessly communicated with the control server. As described above, the present invention provides a first ultrasonic signal device, each of which is provided with an identification symbol given according to an installation position, along a driving path on which an unmanned vehicle is driven, and a second ultrasonic signal that transmits and receives an ultrasonic signal to and from an unmanned vehicle. By installing an ultrasonic signal, the position of the unmanned vehicle is obtained by using an ultrasonic signal generated by the transmission and reception of the first ultrasonic signal and the second ultrasonic signal, and the operation of the unmanned vehicle is controlled through the operation controller. According to the present invention, it is possible to easily configure the facilities for the position control of the unmanned transport vehicle in the port logistics automation system to facilitate the automation of the port logistics system while reducing the installation cost, and to facilitate the maintenance.
