PURPOSE: A facility for preventing soil loss at the head section of a road drain is provided to selectively collect foreign materials flowing along rainwater by installing a foreign material storage unit and an earth storage unit on the wall of a head section. CONSTITUTION: A facility for preventing soil loss at the head section of a road drain comprises a mounting unit(20), a foreign material storage unit(30), an earth storage unit(40), a partition wall(50), an inclined unit(60), and a flowing guide(70). The mounting unit is horizontally formed on the wall surface(S1) of a head section. A protruded unit(21) is formed in the bottom of the mounting unit. The foreign material storage unit is inserted into the mounting unit and has a space(31) for accepting foreign materials. The earth storage unit is installed in the foreign material storage unit and is supported by the protruded unit. The partition wall is vertically installed between the foreign material and earth storage units. The inclined unit is formed in the bottom of the protruded unit. The flowing guide is installed on the bottom surface(S2) of the head section.
